The first week of October is Dyslexia Awareness week, and this year’s theme is #breakingthroughbarriers.
Back in 2019, on a trip to Wales, the Dyslexia Show concept was born, aimed at giving people opportunities!
In 2020 we were ready for our first event – The Dyslexia Show 2020, the UK’s first national exhibition dedicated to dyslexia. Unfortunately, no one could have predicted what happened next – the pandemic.
After postponing the show in 2020 and twice in 2021, we were finally able to launch The Dyslexia Show in March 2022. This became the UK’s first dedicated dyslexia exhibition aimed at students, parents, and the workplace. Over the two days we had 19 sponsors, 48 exhibitors, 60 speakers and just over 2,500 attendees.
I’m delighted that The Dyslexia Show 2023 will be returning to the NEC Birmingham next year, 24-25 March 2023. We’ll be delivering informed choices, giving you, parents, educators and the workplace ways to #breakthroughbarriers.
We hope to see you there!
