I created the Dcode Dyslexia reading programme during Covid lockdowns in 2021. I have taught countless struggling readers over thirty five years and as I get older I see the number of struggling readers increase. Orton-Gillingham methods have worked well for me, and over the years I developed my own techniques, and methods, to improve and embellish my teaching. During the Spring of 2021 I sat down and wrote an eight book programme that encapsulates all of my learning on the job, my endless research, the good experiences I have had with students and all the techniques and methods I developed.
